I'm thinking of calling this blog "On The Range". Since most of my new posts are going to be mainly about Liz and I living in the new house in Brooklyn.
The two major projects that have been started are wiping us out. One is the front yard. I've already removed the bushes from the front yard and am currently getting it ready for us to plant a Rhododendron. However, I have to decide whether to remove the brick completely or just have it redone in the front. (I am trying to do as much myself, yet I must admit that I know nothing about masonry.)
The second project is the renovation of the master bedroom. The ceiling had paint that was peeling and the walls also shared some cracks. The carpet was an old blue color and we were hoping to refinish the floors and paint to match the new furniture being delivered.
Being a former Starbucks employee, I was spoiled at always being able to drink whatever I wanted whenever I wanted and being able to receive a nice healthy discount on all supplies/merchandise that I wanted. However, now with us moving in together and gaining a lot more expenses, we are trying to make coffee at home and drink home made hot chocolate more often. However, does anyone have any suggestions for a good Hot Chocolate mix? Something similar to Mocha but maybe more like Ghiradelli chocolate? All of your suggestions are appreciated.
