I've been thinking about all of the creativity that surrounds me. There are tons of creative geniuses and patrons of the arts who I happen to call friends. I am thinking of attempting to bring people together for common causes. Maybe this means hosting a night at a local venue or attempting to curate a gallery opening but I think it is something that I would greatly benefit from.

It's a hard thing to do with the world constantly moving past you and around you. However, I think taking the time out to reach and shoot for the stars and to really just absorb all that life has to offer is a wonderful thing.

This past Friday, I was able to attend a rock show which was performed by a cool band called Happy Anarchy and the lead singer is a new co-worker Joe. Saturday night was a kick ass benefit for Coney Island. It was put together by several wonderful people at Southpaw in Brooklyn.

This weekend was a great one and I am hoping that next weekend is as much fun.
