I offended a co-worker today by asking her if she "baked pot brownies" after seeing a big tub of brownies on her desk. I need to use better judgement. I assumed that an individual who worked for a rock magazine for many years and who has tattoos and is cool and hip would have taken that joke okay. I really shouldn't have. I guess I just learned that no matter what happens, don't have a sense of humor at work and you are better off walking around like a drone robot then to offend a co-worker by assuming that they would completely get my humor.
